Yang Mian geeft een positieve draai aan de propaganda van het consumentisme, de Chinese staatsgratie. Grote billboards met vrouwsportretten versieren de straten van de stad. Maar de identiteit van deze vrouwen is verloren gegaan. Ze verschillen in kleur, maar in elk ander opzicht zijn inwisselbaar.
