Simon Morris maakt geometrisch abstract werk, dat bestaat uit schilderijen op papier en doek en site-specific werk. Morris wil in zijn werk verder gaan dan louter formalistisch en naar zichzelf verwijzend werk. Het gaat hem om de relatie met het omringende, de relaties tussen abstractie, ruimte, plaats en tijd. In zijn site-specific werk maakt hij gebruik van de ruimte. In de werken op doek en papier zoals de getoonde ‘Accumulation’, ‘Pause’, en ‘Lines’ betrekt hij de tijd in het werk.
