Kalmte, stilte en leegte karakteriseren het werk van Le Thiet Cuong. Onzekerheid over de toekomst is een van de hoofdthema's van zijn werk. Met een minimum aan lijnen legt Cuong Vietnamese tradities en simpele dagelijkse gebruiken vast, die zo bepalend zijn voor de Vietnamese identiteit.
