'The cars and carparts, in real or photographed, are reduced to pure shape. The car lacks all other properties, as speed, engine power and movement. In Mexico people decorate their cars, they give the car a name and make them their own interior with photographs of beloved. As the house is the domain of the female, the car is the domain of the male. The car becomes a sacred place and even when it is broke it is kept as a cherished place.
