RENTAL FROM € 25,- PER YEAR

The annual rental is 20% of the sales price of any piece of art. The amount of the rental payment therefore depends on the selected works. Canvas rents out art starting from € 25,- per year.
The art can be exchanged every year for other art. If you rent for at least 3 years, including annual exchange, the rental percentage is 18%.

Our advice, delivery and hanging of the works is free of charge. The rental payments are tax deductable.

INDICATIVE PRICES

The average annual rental for work on paper falls between € 80,- (graphics) and € 150,- (e.g. paintings on paper).
Paintings on canvas have higher rates.
Example: if you rent 10 works with an average sales price of € 500,-, the annual rent would be € 1.000,- (10 x € 500,- x 20%). That's about € 83,- a month.

OPTION TO BUY

During the rental period you have an option to buy the rented work. If you decide to buy, 50% of the rent already paid for that work is deducted from the sales price (savings balance).

LEASE

You have the option of leasing art from Canvas (operational lease). In that case, Canvas leases art to you for a predetermined period (usally three years). At the end of this period, you have the right to buy the art for 10% of the sales price (determined at the start of the leasing period). The lease payments are tax deductible.
